common fault:
The no-load voltage is too high:
(1) Automatic voltage regulator is out of control. The excitation winding current of no-load exciter is too large. Check the automatic voltage regulator.
(2) The setting voltage is too high to reset the voltage.
Excitation current of exciter:
(1) The rectifier element has one or two components in the positive and negative circuit, check with a multimeter, replace the damaged components.
(2) The main generator or exciter part of the excitation winding short circuit, measure the DC resistance value of each pole coil. Replace the coil with a short circuit fault.
Steady-state voltage adjustment rate:
Automatic voltage regulator has a fault check and troubleshoot.
High vibration:
(1) Poor docking with prime mover check and correct docking. After the bolts are fastened, ensure that the generator and the prime mover axis are straight and concentric.
(2) The rotor dynamic balance is not good, occurs after the rotor is rewound, should find the positive dynamic balance.
(3) Short-circuit of the excitation winding of the main generator measure the DC resistance of each pole and find out the short-circuit fault point. Replace the coil.
(4) Bearing damage, generally bearing cover overheating phenomenon, replace the bearing.
(5) If the prime mover is faulty, check the prime mover.
overheating:
(1) The generator is overloaded, so that the load current and voltage do not exceed the rated value.
(2) The load power factor is too low, adjust the load, so that the excitation current does not exceed the rated value.
(3) If the speed is too low, adjust the speed to the rated value.
(4) There is a short circuit in some windings of the generator. Find out the short circuit and correct or replace the coil.
(5) The air duct is blocked, the obstacles are removed, the motor is dismantled, and the air duct is thoroughly blown.
